With a diverse background in law and technology, she has over 12 years’ experience in in-house practice in the industries of internet, artificial intelligence and telecommunications. She is good at managing intangible assets, addressing infringement risks, and designing compliance mechanism in an effective method.
In the IP area, Ms.WANG has successfully solved more than 30 intellectual property infringement disputes (the U.S. 337 investigations included), provided intellectual property solutions for multiple cross-border technology mergers and acquisitions, conducted worldwide patent operation transactions, and deeply participated in a number of well-known standard-essential-patent related antitrust cases and helped the industry obtain reasonable licensing rates and fair licensing conditions.
In the compliance area, Ms.WANG is very familiar with the China data-compliance regulatory environment and has long been responsible for privacy compliance work for platform-level internet businesses in China, including the design of privacy functions for App products.
Ms.WANG is widely recoginized at home and abroad. She has received a number of key awards, including “2024 World's Leading 300 IP Strategists” by the Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine, and “2023 In-house Counsel Awards” by China Business Law Journal (CBLJ).
